Well here I am. My last and final day here at the orphanage! I can't believe I'm already leaving to come home tomorrow. I have had an amazing time here at the orphanage and I will miss my girls sooo much! A few already shed some tears knowing that I'm leaving soon. They're great girls! I am excited to come home but it is a bit bittersweet. I would really appreciate if everyone could keep me in their prayers tomorrow as I travel home. I'm going to be getting in around 11:30 at night so its going to be a long day!

This weekend was pretty great. Saturday I got invited to go to the beach and a water park with Audrey. Had a lot of fun there. They have black sand on the beaches down here. And it was so hot and muggy you could hardly stand it. We said our last goodbyes once again and then Sunday morning she showed up at church and surprised me like crazy. We had lunch together and then I went and hung out with Patricia, Jenny, Julio, Tono, and Courtney. We played Nintendo Wii a little in the afternoon and then I just had a pretty laid back evening.

I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has emailed me, kept in touch with me, prayed for me, and just were an incredible encouragement to me while I was down here. You guys have no idea how much that has meant to me and you probably won't know unless you leave everything familiar to you for a few months. You guys are amazing!

Also a big thanks to God for working everything out better than I could have ever imagined! He is amazing!

  Okay so the past week has gone really fast! Audrey came on Thursday and was only going to stay for 4 days but now she is staying until Friday when we both leave to go to her house for the weekend! So in all, we will be together 11 days straight! Well this week has been going pretty fast. Monday morning I cleaned some of the team rooms and got about half done. The team is coming on Saturday so hopefully I get the rooms done tomorrow. The past couple days I worked on getting pictures of all the girls and asking them what their favorite color, food, Bible character, activity, class, etc. is for the newsletters for their sponsors. It took me probably 15 minutes and a lot of bribing with a lollipop for her to let me take her picture. Wow, I really hate it when they have to be that difficult. Tonight I´m working on washing my bedding again. I´ve been getting bit pretty bad the past few nights. Grr, I hate fleas!

The exciting news! Audrey is coming to the orphanage tomorrow and is staying for 4 days with me! I´m so excited. I finally will get to see a familar face again.

All in all, things are well.

For some reason they just decided to pick me up. Crazy girls!

 Well, its the start of another week. Last week was really tough. There´s just a lot of stuff going on, here and at home. So I would really appreciate everyones prayers. Thank you.

Today is Courtney´s birthday so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY COURTNEY!!! Its tradition in Guatemala to serenade whoever is having a birthday. So Tono and Warren came by this morning at 6:15 and set off firecrackers right outside the door. They were so loud! Oh my word I thought my heart was going to pound out of my chest, it scared me so bad. Well I was tired so I decided to stay in bed....they thought the first round didn´t wake me so they threw some more up on the roof right outside my door. Well, lets just say that by then, I was really awake! So I went down and we all had some cake and sat around like a bunch of very tired people!

This afternoon I went down to town with Patricia. I got another Cafelado at Sarita´s. (Its a frozen cappucino icecream drink.) Honestly, why don´t they have them at home? They are so heavenly good and really cheap!
